For more than 25 years, Joseph Mimran has been a leading contributor to the fashion and design industry in Canada. With his sharp eye, impeccable attention to detail and insight into emerging trends, Joe has always been on the forefront of what’s next. As Creative Director of the Joe Fresh® brand for Loblaw Companies Limited, Joe is committed to offering women, men and children stylish and versatile looks for every day that are both well- designed and well-priced. Joe personally oversees the design and development of an extensive clothing range, from chic footwear to the latest in outdoor fashions. In addition to apparel, the Joe Fresh® brand launched cosmetics, nail and bath collections.

Joe is intrinsically involved in every step of the Joe Fresh® creative process from product design to marketing, finding the right model for an advertising campaign to selecting a store location and design. As focused as he is on the design process, Joe also fully understands the business aspect of retail and has led Joe Fresh® to become one of the top brands in Canada, with 330+ stores in Canada and into international expansion in just five years.

Joe’s illustrious career began in 1977 within his family’s dress design and manufacturing business. He astutely identified the need for careerwear for women as they entered the work force and this forward-thinking resulted in the development of several successful brands starting with Alfred Sung. Shortly thereafter he founded Club Monaco and later launched Caban, both sold to Ralph Lauren in 1999.

With his current company, Joseph Mimran & Associates, he continues to keep his finger on the pulse, providing elegant design, inventive product development and branding expertise for the apparel, home and entertainment divisions of Loblaw Companies Limited including PC® Home, Everyday EssentialsTM, Jogi, J+/-, Teragear and Cats+Dawgs. Joe also currently contributes to the Pink Tartan line of clothing, a luxury sportswear collection designed by his wife Kimberley Newport- Mimran and serves as chair of the Fashion Design Council of Canada.

Joseph Mimran, an avid traveler and art collector, lives in Toronto and is the father of four wonderful children.

Mode à Paris - Steffie Christiaens - Paris Fashion Week - Pret à Porter - Spring / Summer 2013 - September 25, 2012

Check out these paris fashion images:

Mode à Paris - Steffie Christiaens - Paris Fashion Week - Pret à Porter - Spring / Summer 2013 - September 25, 2012

After gaining invaluable experience and savoir-faire in the atelier of Balenciaga and the Maison Martin Margiela between 2007 and 2010, Steffie Christiaens established her Paris studio to pursue a conceptual design process through womens & mens ready-to-wear collections. Prior to this, Steffie completed fashion design studies at the IFM in Paris and the esteemed Arnhem Academy in the Netherlands. Upon graduating the IFM in 2009, Steffie was selected as a finalist in the prestigious Hyères festival in the south of France.

Utilising her knowledge and training in the fields of fabric design, 3-D construction and printing, Steffie imbues a deep personal ideology and an abstract mythology into her garments. Constantly challenging traditional garment codes through her experimentation with elemental forces and the asymmetry of nature, Steffie Christiaens provokes a new dialogue in the converging realms of art and fashion.

Check out these fashion on line images:

DEMOYO - World MasterCard Fashion Week - October 23, 2012

Fashion Designer Paidemoyo Chideya has spent the last ten years discovering what it means to become not only the epitome of the classic, but the innovative of fashion as well. With her product line, it is clear that this designer is here to make her mark on the fashion world.

Born in Zimbabwe, raised in Sweden, London and with nuances in Paris, Paidemoyo learned to refine her design eye through the diversity of all the multiplexes of cultures that surrounded her upbringing. Upon her New York City arrival, and determined to learn and succeed in the fashion realm, she apprenticed for Carolina Herrera, Calvin Klein and the likes of Ralph Lauren, where she learned to refine her eye for vintage, style, eloquence and demure.

Now mature, and ready to entrance the world with her own style, she has created DeMOYO which encapsulates her vision of the fashion world and her efforts to give back to a world that is in desperate need of healing. This designer not only has a vision, but genuinely works on infusing help into the infrastructures of suffering economies, by not only being eco- conscious, but by creating jobs where jobs are needed right in the heart of the problem, sourcing locally in Africa.

No stranger to the Toronto fashion scene, David Dixon is one of Canada’s leading women’s fashion designers. Following his training at Ryerson University, David apprenticed with Canadian fashion icon Alfred Sung, Dixon went on to launch his own label under the Toronto Fashion Incubator (TFI), a highly respected organization focused on assisting new designers, before establishing his own design and production studio in 1999.

His collections exude a quiet elegance; by employing simple and modern silhouettes, collections are defined by his exceptional understanding of textiles. Innovative designs have won Dixon an elite following among the communities of film and fashion, including: Jann Arden, Pamela Anderson, Meg Ryan, Wendy Crewson, Ashley MacIsaac, Holly Cole, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Kari Matchett, Paul Gross and newcomer Kristen Booth, to name a few.

More recently, Dixon has expanded his successful signature collection, and has partnered with several National and International brands. Collaborating with Town Shoes has resulted in a nationally recognized David Dixon shoe line, while partnerships with The Shopping Channel and Mattel International along with exclusive licensing rights for Barbie by David Dixon, have further increased the designers’ global recognition.

Currently the David Dixon Signature Collection can be found at Holt Renfrew, The Bay and specialty boutiques internationally.

Growing up in the 80s, she gravitated towards the exploding music and nightlife scene of lower Manhattan. Looking to express her self-identity, she handcrafted original and daring looks for herself and friends. An avid researcher, Norisol worked and lived around the globe, absorbing the rich cultures of Spain, Italy, England, and France. Newstead Abbey Visit – April 2012

A few nice fashion in pakistan images I found:

Newstead Abbey Visit – April 2012

A visit to the majestic Nottinghamshire estate of Newstead Abbey, the birth place of the poet Lord Byron, facilitated by NTU International Office’s South Asia and Africa team. Students from these regions were invited to attend and those who could make it were captivated by a guided tour of the house, which also presented some dressing up opportunities in old-fashioned outfits. There was also a traditional English cream tea, which refuelled everyone before the afternoon walk around the beautiful gardens and lake.
